Troubleshoot available quantity (including allocated) from Inventory module of Dutchie POS

Learn to troubleshoot the amount in the Quantity (including allocated) column in the Inventory module of Dutchie POS.

 

Things to know

Users need the Manage Inventory/Pre-order Allocation permission set to perform this action. 

    1. From Dutchie POS admin, go to Settings > Users.
    2. Click through the user you wish to view or change permissions.
    3. Choose inventory permissions.
    4. Check the Manage Inventory/Pre-order Allocation.
    5. Click Save.

Problem

We have a product that physically has one more unit. but the "available" is at 0 and the "Quantity (including allocated)" is at 1, and we have 1 in Metrc.

How do we make this inventory available again?"

 

Solutions

Use "Manage pre-order allocation" action

  1. From the Dutchie POS admin, Go to Products > Inventory 
  2. Select the inventory item in the table
  3. From the action drop-down, select Manage pre-order allocation
  4. You'll be able to see the transaction the item is associated with and delete the item through the three dots "..." below the settings cog wheel.

View allocated inventory

  1. From the Dutchie POS Backoffice, go to Reports > Inventory allocated report.
  2. View all allocated inventory and the associated transactions.
  3. Find the open cart in the register, and remove the item.
