Note: Custom tipping does not apply to Pay by Bank transactions, as tipping is controlled by the customer on their phone in the Pay by Bank checkout workflow. Should you want your Dutchie Hub tip values to match Pay by Bank, they are: $0, $4, $6, $8.
Dutchie Hub tipping is controlled on its own tab within the Dutchie Hub integration tile titled "Tipping", found in Dutchie POS Backoffice > Settings > Integrations. This can be controlled and edited by users with integration permissions assigned.
- Enabled Toggle = Toggle on/off to control if tipping screen is part of the checkout flow on the Dutchie Hub terminal
- Tip type = This determines the value type of the tipping options, % or $
- Tip amounts = Input the desired values of the tipping options
- All 4 options need to have a value entered, if one is left blank you will receive an invalid value error message.
- The % tips have default values of 10%, 15%, 18% and 20% but can be edited to any desired values.
- The $ tips do not have default values, values need to be entered. These do not need to be whole dollar amounts, can be dollar with cents (ex. $3.50).
- Click the SAVE button to save settings. Changes should be immediate on the terminal screens.
