This article reviews the checkout process on Kiosk from customer experience through budtender completion.
Enable Pay by Bank on Dutchie Kiosk
- Navigate to the Dutchie Admin panel on E-Commerce.
- Go to Settings > Ordering.
- Select the Fulfillment option on the Kiosk.
- Select Pay by Bank under Payment Types.
- Click Publish.
Check out at the Kiosk (customer flow)
After adding the items they wish to purchase, the customer is ready to check out at the Kiosk. Customer workflow is as follows:
- Customer fills in their information.
- Under "How do you want to pay prompt?", tap the Pay now option for Pay by Bank.
- Customer then scans the QR code on the kiosk screen to transfer the cart from the kiosk to their phone to authorize payment.
Note: If the customer prefers to pay with another tender type, they can tap Pay at the counter. - Once the customer opens the link from the QR code, the kiosk screen auto refreshes with a Finalize payment on phone message. The customer is able to select close and walk away from the kiosk, while completing the transaction on their phone. If the customer changes their mind, they can click pay later at the counter below the QR code
Note: The payment is NOT finalized at this time and funds are not withdrawn or held from the consumer’s bank account. Payment is not finalized and withdrawn until it is completed at the POS by the budtender. - On their phone, the customer will sign in/up for Pay by Bank.
Note: Click here for the complete customer sign-up process. - Once payment on customer’s end has been confirmed, then the cart in the POS should update to show that the order was authorized for Pay by Bank.

The budtender then clicks the Pay by Bank button > clicks complete order

Upon clicking on Complete Order, the budtender will see the payment success screen if the order was successfully finalized > then the budtender selects Done to complete the order
