Florida | Returns and voids - Dutchie POS
This article applies to Dutchie POS.
Florida BioTrack operators should be aware of certain nuances when processing customer returns or voiding completed transactions.
Returned cannabis items cannot be re-sold and should be destroyed
When processing a return, if you select Yes for Returned to inventory in the Dutchie Register, BioTrack creates a new package for the returned item. This new package should be destroyed.
To automatically schedule returned cannabis items for destruction, go to Settings > Integrations > BioTrack > Settings tab and turn on the Schedule Returns for Destruction setting.
Updating allotments after a return or void
Patient allotments should be automatically updated to reflect returned items or voided transactions. However, a known issue with the MMUR patient registry may make it appear that the allotment has not been updated until the returned items are destroyed.
Delivery vs. in-store
Completed delivery transactions cannot be voided, though you can still process returns for each item from a completed delivery.
In-store transactions can be voided or returned
