The Budtender performance report is an employee performance tool in Dutchie POS that streamlines employee performance data, giving store managers and retail operators track performance metrics and access detailed performance insights all in one place.

This feature is currently not available for locations using the fulfillment model. Support for fulfillment is expected to be added soon. Additionally, employees must have "View Employee Reports" permissions to have access to the report.
Managers can now easily view key performance metrics for each budtender, such as checkout time, total sales, number of transactions, average cart size, and units per transaction. The report allows users to analyze up to 12 months of data, and click into individual employee profiles for detailed breakdowns.
Access employee reports
To access the new budtender report view, go to Reports > Employee > Overview to see a snapshot of your employee reporting data across all your locations in one place. Employees with the "View Employee Reports" permission will have access to the new report.
Performance insights
With this change, store managers and retail operators will be able to filter by location, track performance metrics over the past year, and access detailed performance insights quickly—all within 10 seconds. These insights help retailers identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and drive incentives to reward employees at their store.
Budtender leaderboard
The Budtender leaderboard provides a snapshot of Budtenders and their ‘stats’ across multiple locations. You can filter your view to see the Top 10, Bottom 10, or view all. You can choose between Total Sales, Average cart size, Number of transactions, or units sold per transaction.
Budtender report calculations
The table below show columns included in the Budtender Performance report and how these numbers are calculated in Dutchie POS.
| Column name | Calculation |
| Average order value (AOV) | Net sales divided by total number of orders. This number does not subtract returns. |
| Units per transactions | Number of units sold divided by total number of completed orders. |
| Gross sales | Gross Sales is the Price multiplied by Quantity for every item sold in a completed order, without any deductions. |
| Net sales | Gross sales minus discounts and returns is the standard calculation for Net Sales. In this view, returns are not subtracted for the purpose of employee performance. |
| Discounted amount | Total amount of the discount(s) applied, excluding loyalty as discount. |
Performance overview
Each employee has a Performance Overview attached to their profile which allows you to see a detailed overview of their activity in store. Transaction count, and average order value are some of the stats you can see an immediate view of.
Note: Average order value is calculated using Net Sales divided by number of transactions completed.
Top sales breakdown
The top sales breakdown view shows you a breakdown of sales related to Products, Brands, and Master category. The top sales breakdown on the budtender performance report is attached to the products, brands, and master categories the budtender has sold rather than the overall store. These numbers will be updated in real-time.
