Marketing asset placement guide

We’ve field-tested dispensaries across various regions to learn what works best. These recommendations go beyond just processing transactions — they help drive awareness and adoption of Pay by Bank throughout the customer journey.

Where to place your marketing assets

Check-in and waiting areas

Modern reception area with host stand and seating.
  • Best for: Table tents, bag drops

  • Why: Customers often wait here, making it a great time to encourage sign-ups before checkout.

  • Placement Tips:

    • Use flat, high-traffic surfaces like check-in desks, waiting room tables, or lobby counters.

    • Train hosts to mention Pay by Bank and encourage sign-ups as part of the check-in process.

    • Leave bag drops in areas where customers naturally pick up literature or engage in conversation.

Pro Tip: Bag drops are great conversation starters and help speed up checkout later.

Windows and storefronts

  • Best for: Window stickers

  • Why: Promotes Pay by Bank to foot traffic before customers even walk in.

  • Placement Tips:

    • Apply stickers to doors or windows facing sidewalks, parking lots, or busy plazas.

    • Make sure they’re clean, eye-level, and easy to scan.

Showroom and sales floor

  • Best for: Table tents, bag drops, window stickers

  • Why: Engaged customers are more likely to interact with QR codes while browsing.

  • Placement Tips:

    • Place table tents or QR code stickers next to featured products, displays, or accessories.

    • Set out bag drops along the customer journey to the register — on product tables, counters, or in dispensary-branded trays or hats.

    • If your store has glass display cases or dividers, apply a window sticker to subtly prompt sign-ups mid-shop.

Ask yourself: Is my sales floor designed to prompt engagement with Pay by Bank?

    • Apply register stickers to the back of POS terminals or mobile tablets used by budtenders.

    • Place table tents on or near ATMs, or affix stickers to ATM casings to discourage fees and promote Pay by Bank.

    • Include a bag drop in every purchase — great for repeat customers or those who may sign up later at home.
