Grant loyalty point boosts to your customers with campaign workflows

We are adding new functionality to Campaign Workflows, giving you a new action type that allows you to create workflows for granting loyalty point boosts to your customers for actions outside direct transactions. The Grant point boost actions can be paired with triggers like upcoming birthday or new sign-ups to award customers and incentivize shopping.

How does it work?

When you create a Workflow, select Grant point boost as the Action. For instance, if a customer has an upcoming birthday, you can build a Workflow to automatically send a message, email or SMS, with a point boost that adds to the customer’s loyalty point balance and encourages them to shop. This functionality is automatic and sync with the data you already have in Dutchie. The trigger captures eligible customers and filters out non-loyalty customers.

What do I need to do?

This feature is available to dispensaries using Dutchie POS Loyalty and Marketing. If you are using Dutchie POS Loyalty and Marketing and can’t access Workflows, contact your Dutchie Representative.

How do I create a workflow for points boost?

To create a points boost workflow, go to Marketing > Workflows:

  1. Click Create workflow.
  2. Enter a Campaign name and click Next.
  3. Build your Trigger by selecting an Event, When to send, and Time of day to send.
  4. Click the plus + button on the workflow to add an Action.
  5. Select Grant point boost.
  6. Enter the number of points you want to award in the Point boost field.
  7. Fill in the Expiration days field.
    • The points earned from this point boost will expire after this number of days, regardless of the number of days after which your loyalty points normally expire.
    • If your loyalty points never expire, this field is optional.
  8. Click the plus + button to add a second Action for the delivery method.
  9. Open editor to build your email template.
Note: Templates make is easy to build out an email.
  10. Click Close editor after building out your template.
  11. Click Activate workflow to start your campaign and begin sending messages to customers.
