In this article, you’ll find all the necessary steps to integrate your retail business with Delaware’s BioTrack traceability system.
Things to know
- Ensure your BioTrack credentials are set up.

Integration settings
- In the Dutchie Backoffice, navigate to Settings > Integrations.
- Select BioTrack.
- On the Settings tab, select/enter the following:

If you have a hybrid license, check the boxes for Dispense - Medical and Dispense - Recreational. If you are a medical-only retailer, check the box for Dispense - Medical only. |

Find your Location number by logging into BioTrack at https://trace.de.biotr.ac/. Your location’s license number is in parentheses just below your company name. Enter this number in Dutchie without the parentheses. |

Select Yes only when testing the integration. Change to No when you’re ready to use the integration for live transactions. |

Important note about product potencies
Our team is working to resolve an issue that prevents Dutchie POS from pulling test results accurately from BioTrack. Until further notice:
- Manually calculate and enter the potencies of all products to ensure accurate tax collection.
- Even though you’re entering potencies manually, Dutchie's BioTrack integration setting Use BioTrack Lab Data should still be set to Yes and Default BioTrack Labs in Receive should be set to No.
