What is the issue?
Customers attempting to access their Dutchie consumer account via "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Apple" are encountering errors or being unable to link to their existing order history. This prevents them from placing new orders or viewing their rewards and previous purchases on the dispensary's storefront.
What’s causing the issue?
Most social login issues occur when a user is signed into a different Google or Apple account on their device than the one used to create their Dutchie profile. Conflicts also arise if a customer previously created an account using an email and password and then tries to use a social login with that same email address.
How do I solve the issue?
Before you begin, confirm that you are attempting to log into a consumer account; dispensary admin and POS accounts do not support social login and must use an email and password.
- Navigate to Dutchie.com or the website of your favorite dispensary.
- Click Sign In and select the specific social provider you used for account creation, such as Continue with Google or Continue with Apple.
- If prompted, ensure you select the correct email address associated with your existing Dutchie account.
- If an error appears, log out of your Google or Apple account in your current browser and log back in to refresh the connection.
- Open an Incognito or Private window and attempt the social login again to rule out browser extensions or cache interference. If this works, then clear your browser cache and cookies to resolve this login concern.
Note: Only use password reset if you’re attempting to login with an email and password directly.
