Use this article as a Dispensary Manager, Regional Manager, or Owner to switch between different store profiles within the Dutchie POS and Dutchie E-Commerce interfaces to manage inventory, reports, or settings.
What is the issue?
Users with responsibilities at multiple retail sites need to toggle between different Dutchie store accounts.
What’s causing the issue?
This problem typically occurs when a user has not been granted the necessary permissions for all locations within their organization. It can also happen if a user is unaware of where the location dropdown is within Dutchie POS or Dutchie E-Commerce.
How do I solve the issue?
Before you begin, confirm with your organization's account administrator that your email address is officially associated with every store location you need to access.
You must be a Dutchie Admin user who has been granted access to multiple locations in your chain to change locations.
For Dispensary Staff using Dutchie POS Backoffice:
- Log in to the Dutchie POS Backoffice.
- Look at the Top Navigation Bar, typically near the top-right corner of the screen.
- Click on the Location Selector dropdown menu.
- Select the Store Location you wish to access from the list of available dispensaries.
- Verify that the dashboard and inventory now reflect the data for the newly selected store.
- If the correct location is not listed, navigate to Settings > Users to see which locations are assigned to your profile.
- Note: If you do not have permission to view this section, contact your Account Administrator to add your user to the appropriate store.
For Dispensary Staff using Dutchie POS Register:
- Log in to Dutchie POS. In the left menu, click the cash register icon.
- Select Change location.
- Use the dropdowns to select:
- the Company, then
- the Location you want to switch to.
If you don’t see “Change location” or the location you need: you likely don’t have the required permissions to access registers at more than one location. Contact your admin.
For Dispensary Staff using Dutchie E-Commerce Admin:
- Log in to the Dutchie Admin.
- From any location‑specific view of Dutchie Admin, look in the bottom‑left corner of the screen. Click the All Locations button to open the Chain Admin view.
- In Chain Admin, you’ll see a star icon in the upper‑left corner indicating you’re in the Chain view.
- In Chain Admin navigate to Locations.
- You’ll see a list of all locations your Chain Admin account can access. Click the name of the location you want to manage. This opens the location‑specific Dutchie Admin view for that store.
- You should now see the shop logo and the location name in the upper right corner of Dutchie Admin.
