Dutchie Connect: Overview

The Overview page in Dutchie Connect gives you a snapshot of how your brand is performing across Dutchie retailers carrying your products.

All metrics reflect sales at active locations on Dutchie POS, including full-stack locations (Dutchie POS Backoffice + Dutchie E-Commerce); Dutchie E-Commerce-only locations aren't included. The default period is the last 28 days.

Key Metrics

  • Net Sales: What your products sold for at retail, after discounts and before tax. This is the actual revenue your brand generated through Dutchie retailers in the selected period.
  • Units Sold: The total number of units that sold through to shoppers in the period. Use this to gauge product movement across your retail footprint.
  • Avg Unit Price: The average price one unit sold for, after discounts. This helps you understand how your pricing and promotions are affecting what shoppers actually pay.
  • Retail Chains: The number of unique retailer groups carrying your brand. A chain is counted once, regardless of how many individual store locations or sub-brands it carries.
  • Retail Locations: The number of unique store locations carrying your brand. Each location counts once, even if multiple of your sub-brands are sold there. You'll also see a % of eligible figure: this is your share of every Dutchie-powered door in the states where you sell. The remaining percentage represents open white space and growth opportunity for your brand.

Sales Performance

  • Net Sales:  Your total sales over the last 13 weeks, week by week: what your products actually sold for, after discounts and returns are already taken out. (The most recent week will look lower than usual since it's still in progress.)
  • Promo Depth:  How much of your list price you're giving away in discounts, shown as a percentage each week. Example: If you sold $100 worth of product at list price but only collected $85 after discounts, your promo depth is 15%.

Retail Reach

  • Market Penetration by State (map):  For each state, this shows what share of all the dispensaries that could sell your brand actually do: colored darker where you have a stronger presence and lighter where there's more room to grow. States with too few dispensaries to measure reliably are marked "insufficient data" instead of showing a misleading percentage.
  • Retail Chains (Accounts):  The number of different retail companies carrying your brand: one chain counts as one, even if it operates ten stores.
  • Retail Locations (Doors):  The number of individual stores carrying your brand: counted once per store, even if that store sells more than one of your product lines.
  • Markets Table:  A state-by-state breakdown combining the reach numbers above (accounts, doors, penetration %) with sales numbers (net sales, units sold, average price): basically the map's data as a sortable, searchable list.
