This article is explains how to access the User Permissions Report in the Dutchie E-Commerce chain management screen.
If you manage a multi-location chain in Dutchie E-Commerce, you can now view a single, consolidated report of every user across your chain, along with their permission flags and the specific locations each user can access. The report includes a CSV export so you can document access for SOC and other regulatory compliance audits without visiting each location's user list individually.
This addresses a common pain point for larger chains: previously, an admin had to click into each user, at each location, one at a time, to confirm who could access what. There was also no way to export that information, which made it difficult to satisfy audit and compliance requests. This report is designed for chains as large as 20 or more locations, and it has been tested with up to 5,000 users without truncating results.
Before you begin
- This feature rolls out gradually behind a feature flag, so it may not yet be visible in your account.
- Access to the report is scoped to your own chain. You cannot view or export permissions data for a chain you do not belong to.
- To view or export the report, your user profile must belong to the chain you are viewing. Super admins can access any chain's report.
- The report and its CSV export are built from the same underlying data, so what you see on screen always matches what you export.
Access the user permissions report
- In Dutchie E-Commerce Enterprise Admin, go to All locations > Settings > User Permissions Report.
- Review the list of every user in your chain, along with their permission flags and the locations each user can access.
Search and filter the report
Use the search field to narrow the list by name, email, or location. This is useful when you need to quickly confirm whether a specific former employee still has access anywhere in the chain, or when you want to review access for a single location without scrolling through the full chain list.
Export the report as a CSV
Click the export option on the report page to download a CSV file of the full report. The CSV includes the same data shown on screen, so it is suitable for attaching directly to a SOC or regulatory audit request.
Troubleshooting
Q: I don't see a User Permissions Report option under Settings. A: This feature is rolling out gradually. If you believe your chain should have access, contact your customer success manager or Dutchie Support.
Q: The data in my export looks slightly out of date compared to a change I just made. A: The report reads from a secondary database node for performance reasons, so it may lag live updates by a few seconds. This is expected behavior for this audit view.
Q: Can I export permissions data for a different chain that I also have access to? A: No. The report and export are scoped to your own chain based on your profile, even if you have access to multiple locations.
