Learn how to find Dutchie Connect in Backoffice and what each tool on the Connect Home page does.
Once enabled, Dutchie Connect lives directly in your Backoffice. Connect gives your Brand partners a set of tools to work inside the software you already use, while keeping your store's information protected.
Within Connect, you are able to:
- Review and approve brand funded discount proposals
- Opt-in and connect with your partners for Vendor Managed Inventory
- (Coming Soon) Manage Brand-verified product content for your eComm menus
- (Coming Soon) Review, approve and submit purchase orders
Things to know
- Dutchie Connect appears as its own section in the Backoffice navigation menu, labeled CONNECT.
- Vendor Managed Inventory requires you to opt in before brands can flag stockouts or suggest reorders for your store. Brands only see their own products at your store. They cannot see your customers, other brands, or your total sales performance.
- Every brand-funded discount proposal and every reorder suggestion waits on your approval.
Find Connect in Backoffice
- Log in to Dutchie Backoffice.
- In the left navigation menu, look for the CONNECT section.
- Click Home to open the Connect welcome page, or click directly into any listed tool.
What's on the Connect Home page
The Connect Home page organizes every available tool into a single view, so you can see what is live, what requires opt-in, and what is still on the way.
Brand funded discounts (Beta)
Brands fund promotions on their own products, and you approve the terms before anything goes live. Dutchie starts and stops the promotion automatically and sends both you and the brand a sales report.
Vendor managed inventory (Beta, opt-in required)
Once you opt in, brands can flag stockouts on their products before they happen and suggest reorders. Every suggestion waits on your approval before it becomes a purchase order (coming soon).
Global catalog (Beta)
Brand-approved product images, descriptions, and specs flow directly into your menu. This removes manual entry and cuts down on brand-asset blind spots.
Purchase orders (Coming soon)
This tool is not yet available. Once live, you will be able to reorder directly from a brand's suggestion or shop their menu directly. Either way, the purchase order lands in Backoffice.
