Catalog Attestation is a quick check-in every 90 days where Brand Admins confirm their product catalog is still accurate, which keeps the “Dutchie Connect Verified” badge active.
For Brand Admins
What is Catalog Attestation?
A check-in every 90 days where you confirm your product catalog is still accurate. It doesn’t check or change your products. It’s like confirming your address is still correct, but in this case it’s confirming your product catalog is still relevant.
Why it matters
It’s the trust signal behind your “Dutchie Connect Verified” badge. If it lapses, your brand shows as unverified.
How to verify
- Go to Catalog Health.
- Click Re-verify catalog.
- Review the active product count shown.
- Confirm.
If the count looks wrong, don’t confirm yet. Fix your catalog first (missing products, stale listings), then re-verify. The count is pulled live from your active catalog, so you can’t type in a different number.
When to act
You’ll see “Verification expiring” about 15 days before it lapses (day 75 of 90).
If it expires
- Nothing is deleted from your catalog.
- Your brand will no longer be shown as a verified Brand to retailers in the POS.
Good to know
- Only brand admins see the Re-verify button. If you don’t see it, you likely don’t have the right role, or no brand is selected.
- If you get an error after clicking confirm, it’s safe to click again. It won’t double-submit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I can't see the Re-verify button. What should I check?
A: Check the user's role and confirm that a brand is selected.
Q: I attested to the wrong number. Can I fix it?
A: There's no override. The count is the live active product count at the moment of confirming. Once the catalog is fixed, re-verify, which creates a new attestation.
Q: I got an error and clicked again. Did I double-submit?
A: No. The idempotency key is generated once per modal open and reused for retries. A later, separate Re-verify click generates a new key and counts as a new attestation.
Q: Who verified this?
A: The "Confirmed" and "Confirmed by" fields show who last attested and when. Use these to resolve disputes.
