Use this article for a broad overview of Dutchie Register and its capabilities.
Through Dutchie Register you can help guests complete their orders in person, set up delivery and pick-up options, access lab results, apply discounts and more. After you check in your guests, they will appear on the Guest List and flow throughout the register workflow. Location, Register, and User Information
Dutchie Register makes it convenient to change locations, registers, and view user information. In the top bar, you will find information about the Location and Register that you are logged in to. Click your username to log out or switch users.
On the left side, click the cash register icon to change to another Location or Register.
Changing Locations is only available if you have the necessary user permissions to access registers at more than one location. Changing Registers on the same device is not available for non-managers if registers are assigned to physical hardware, which is an optional feature that Dutchie POS support can enable for you.

Many of the Register changes you make are done in the Backoffice. When you make changes in the Backoffice, you may need to log out of Dutchie Register and log in again to see those changes reflected in the Register. Register changes and actions you can perform in the Backoffice include:
- Add and configure registers
- Create and manage labels and images
- Set up receipt and label printers
- Configure guest list statuses
- Configure the information that appears on customer cards in the guest list
- Manage reasons for register adjustments, returns, cancellations, and voids
- Configure your order workflow
- Restrict transactions to specified hours
- Enable session timeout
- Configure information related to doctors, qualifying conditions, and customer profiles
- Set up discounts and loyalty programs
- Set delivery options and workflows
- Collect additional fees and donations
- Receipt options
