Select and launch a register in Dutchie POS

With Dutchie Register, you can check in or create new guests, and create, fulfill, and complete orders.

After configuring registers in the Backoffice, you can launch the register application, and log in:

  1. In the Dutchie POS Backoffice, select Registers > Launch register, or navigate to [server name].pos.dutchie.com.
  2. Enter your username and password.
  3. Select a register from the dropdown. Depending on your settings and user permissions, you may only be able to access one specific register from your device.
  4. Click Select Register.

If the register you want to log in to isn't listed, or if no registers are listed:

  1. Check to make sure you're logging into the correct retail location and not a cultivation or manufacturing location that does not have registers configured.
  2. Under Settings > Devices > Registers in the Backoffice, check the register's settings:
    • Ensure Hide from POS is set to No.
    • If the Assign POS Registers to Physical Hardware feature is enabled for your location, each physical device is assigned to a certain register and non-manager employees cannot access multiple registers from one device. In this case, you may need to:
      • Log in from another device
      • Ask a manager or admin to change the device/register assignment by logging in on your device and selecting a different register.
      • Contact Dutchie Support to disable this setting and allow employees to access any register from any device.
