You can add cannabinoids to products on your Dutchie E-Commerce menu manually or through an integration with Dutchie POS.
Things to Know
- Cannabinoids are standardized in Dutchie's software. You cannot add new types of cannabinoids or edit existing types of cannabinoids.
- You can toggle between mg or % to indicate how the cannabinoid is measured.
- Cannabinoids will appear on the Dutchie E-Commerce menu beneath a product's effects and terpenes.
Add Cannabinoids to your Dutchie menu
There are currently two ways to add cannabinoid information to your menu items.
For Dutchie POS users, cannabinoids set in the Lab Result Details in Dutchie POS will pull into Dutchie E-Commerce automatically, as a part of our integration. However, cannabinoids do not sync on the same cadence as a typical Menu sync and may take several hours to appear.
For everyone else, cannabinoid information can be added manually to the Dutchie E-Commerce product info.
Sync Cannabinoids to Dutchie E-Commerce products via Dutchie POS
- Navigate to Products > Inventory > "Specific Product" > Lab Results in Dutchie POS.
- In the Lab Results page, scroll to the Cannabinoids section
- Manual edit the Lab Results or use Upload Lab Results to automatically add cannabinoids and terpenes to your product.
Note!
For users with both Dutchie POS and Dutchie E-Commerce, if a value is entered in the cannabinoid field in Dutchie POS, it will appear for the product on your Dutchie E-Commerce menus. You should leave the field blank if you do not want to have the cannabinoid display.
Add cannabinoids to Dutchie E-Commerce products manually
- Navigate to your Dutchie E-Commerce Admin.
- Click the product you would like to edit.
- Click the Add cannabinoids button.
- Search for the cannabinoid, and add a value for the product.
- These cannabinoid values can be added as a percentage, as milligrams, or as mg/g.
Manually add cannabinoids with no value
You can also add a cannabinoid to a product without having to fill in a value. For those products, you can note the cannabinoid on the consumer menu, while leaving the value blank.
