Learn how to cancel an order in E-Commerce after a customer has submitted it.
Things to know
- The majority of orders (even pre-orders) are paid for during pickup or delivery, so canceled orders only need to be refunded if/when pre-paid through a payment processor like Merrco.
- When orders are canceled, Dutchie E-Commerce does not send a cancellation email. Dutchie will send an SMS text if this is enabled at your location.
- The "Notify the customer via text message" checkbox for order cancellations only appears if the customer placed the online order while logged into their Dutchie.com account. It does not appear for orders placed as a guest.
