Receive inventory manually in Dutchie POS

Learn how to manually receive inventory in Dutchie POS. This article applies to states without an integrated traceability system, or when receiving non-cannabis inventory.

If you are not receiving inventory via a pending transfer, you'll have to receive it manually.

This article details how to receive inventory in the Backoffice manually.

Things to consider

  • This article assumes you have already added the products to the product catalog.
  • Inventory has to be added to a room before you can receive it.
  • You can follow these steps to receive non-cannabis inventory such as lighters, merch, and other supplies. Non-cannabis inventory does not require you to use the pending transfers tool.

Receive inventory

  1. Go to Products > Inventory.
  2. Click Receive inventory
  3. Click Add item to add products from your catalog.
  4. Fill out the fields in the Receive package window.
    • Required fields include:
      • Quantity
      • Package ID
      • Room
      • Vendor
  5. Confirm the cost and items received information is correct.
  6. Click Receive. It may take several seconds to complete this action. Avoid clicking Receive multiple times as this could cause a duplicate manifest in Dutchie POS.

Print labels

After clicking Receive, a Packages successfully received dialog appears, from which you can print labels for the inventory you just received.

Packages

  1. Click Print labels.
