Product categories

Select the Categories tab to view and manage your customizable product categories. Product categories help you organize your catalog, analyze sales by product type, create discounts and specials based on product type, and can also be used to apply different taxes to different types of products.

Pricing tiers

The Pricing tab is where you'll create tiered groups and pricing tiers based on bulk weight. Learn more about setting up product pricing tiers.

Product sizes and dosages

Sizes tab - Choose the name and description of the size of the package. Sizing will depend on the state or region.

Dosages tab - Similar to sizes. Allows you to pick a dosage and automatically populate the recommended description of dosage on the label. For example, a 100mg pack of gummies can be dosed in 10 - 10 mg single serving sizes. Dosages can be pulled directly to the label if it is attached to a catalog entry.

Product and inventory tags

Select the Tags tab to create and edit custom tags that you can apply to products in your catalog or specific packages of batches.

For example, you could add a vegan tag or an edible tag to make them easier to look up, or create discounts that apply to or exclude products or batches with a certain tag.

You can apply multiple tags to one product. When you update or change tags, the tag name will be updated everywhere in the system.

Product and inventory fields

In the Fields tab, you can customize the fields that are shown, required, or hidden in the Catalog, on package detail pages, and when receiving inventory:

  • Catalog - These fields may be hidden, shown, required, or, in some cases, required only if the item is marked cannabis. Your operation can control the data, allowing you to collect all the data you want.
  • Package detail - Detailed fields for specific inventory. Some examples include net weight, notes, etc. Some of these fields will be different from the Catalog fields.
  • Receive inventory - These fields are required when receiving inventory. For example, this could include the Batch ID or state-specific fields.

Inventory statuses

Select the Inventory statuses to create and manage custom statuses for inventory items. You can then assign a status to each item during receiving or after you've received them.

Package ID, SKU, and Batch ID formats

Select the Formats tab to set consistent naming conventions for package IDs, SKUs, and batch IDs. This is an optional feature and may vary depending on the state or region. Learn more about formats.
