You can destroy inventory using the Destroy inventory management action in Dutchie Backoffice. This can be useful when there is a product recall or the product has been damaged and needs to be adjusted to zero. (Ex. Bulk flower falls on the floor). 

Go to Products > Inventory in Dutchie Backoffice.

Things to know

• If you're integrated with BioTrack, refer to Destroy inventory using BioTrack destruction manager instead.
• You must have the "Destroy Inventory" permission. Your admin can set this up in Settings > Users > Permissions in Dutchie Backoffice.
• Support or your Customer Success Manager may need to enable these settings.
• This action requires a reason for destruction.
• This action will destroy the entire package. It is only recommended if the package is adjusted and will no longer be used.

Destroy inventory

1. Go to Products > Inventory.
2. Click through the SKU of the inventory you want to destroy from the inventory list.
   
3. From the next screen, click the Actions button, and select Destroy.
   
4. Enter a note detailing the reason for destruction.
5. Click Destroy.
