Use MJ state ID for internal transfers and manifest.

When you are integrated with Biotrack and want to create an internal transfer or a manifest to a customer, you’ll need to make sure you identify the customer with the correct MJ state ID. If you don’t enter anything in the MJ state ID field or enter the wrong information you will experience issues when trying to send a transfer or manifest will be sent to void.

Things to consider

  • For most users the MJ state ID is the same as the location license number found in the BioTrack integration settings, however that field can be different in some states. 
  • When creating a customer for manifesting, MJ State ID MUST be the LOCATION License number NOT the operating license number (operating license numbers usually starts with “CCD-”).
  • If you send a transfer or manifest with the wrong MJ state ID you will not receive an error message. If entered incorrectly, the manifest will need to be voided directly in BioTrack and you will need to re-manifest after correcting the MJ State ID info. 

Configure MJ state ID 

  1. Go to Customers > Customers
  2. Click the Add customer button or select an existing customer. 
  3. Navigate to the Identification section. 
  4. Enter the correct ID in the MJ state ID field.
  5. Click Save.
