This article highlights the actions you can take with the Dutchie POS Inventory module.
The Inventory module in Dutchie POS backoffice is the central hub for receiving, managing, and auditing your inventory. There are many features available in this module. This article highlights some of the things you can do with this powerful tool.
See Configure, receive, and manage inventory with Dutchie POS Backoffice to learn more.
To reach the inventory module in Dutchie POS Backoffice, go to Products > Inventory.
Note!
Inventory management is a nuanced topic. The information here is meant to help you understand general workflows and how to use the tools available in Dutchie POS. Specific workflows may vary depending on your operation and whether you are integrated with a state traceability system such as Metrc or BioTrack (sometimes referred to as being integrated or non-integrated).
From the Inventory module, you can:
Search for and add details to inventory.
Filter inventory by status, vendor, room, category, tags, and more (sold out, low inventory, and type)
To filter by testing status, type a status name into the search bar.
Click More to show or hide items with zero or low inventory or filter by cannabis vs. non-cannabis items and/or quantity-based vs. weight-based items.
Applied filters are reflected in the page's URL so you can bookmark your customized view or copy and share it with other users.
Sort inventory by a wide variety of attributes
Click the cog to open the Column configuration menu and select which columns you want to view in the inventory table:
Click any column header to sort inventory based on that attribute. Click again to toggle between ascending and descending order.
Sort by price
Use these columns to sort products by price:
Column name | Former name | Description |
Current Price | Price | This price shows in the register, and is determined based on location on company settings. |
Current Rec Price | Rec Price | This price shows in the register, and is determined based on location or company settings. |
Note: If you have dual pricing, unit pricing, or location-specific pricing enabled, you see additional versions of these columns for medical vs. recreational, location price, etc.
Sort by THC potency
Sort by the Calculated THC (MG) column to verify total THC lab results. If a package’s lab results are in milligrams, this column will reflect the milligram value. If the lab results are a percentage, this column will reflect the percentage multiplied by the package weight. We suggest displaying this column next to the THC column (which is not sortable because THC values can be shown in milligrams or as a percentage) so you can see the unit of measure.
Perform a number of bulk or individual inventory management actions.

Upload lab results in bulk, scan packages, and print and export information about your inventory.
