Finish items in Metrc using the Finish inventory management action in Dutchie POS.
Things to know
- Finish is typically done in Metrc markets when an item is at 0 qty.
- When a package is Finished, it is archived and marked as inactive in Dutchie POS and marked as Finished in Metrc. If a Finished package is scanned at the POS you will receive an error.
- Metrc requires users to finish packages.
- You can finish inventory individually or in bulk.
- Users can Unfinish inventory if a mistake is made.
Finish inventory
- Go to Products > Inventory.
- Select the packages you want to finish from the inventory list.
- Click the Bulk actions dropdown, and select Finish.
- Click Confirm to complete the action and finish the inventory in Metrc.
Unfinish inventory
- Go to Products > Inventory.
- Search the packages you want to Unfinish from the inventory list.
- Click the three dots … next to the package, and select Unfinsh.
- Click Confirm to complete the action.
View finished packages
Click the cog wheel on the Inventory table and check the "Is finished in Metrc" box. This adds a column to the Inventory table indicating whether each package is finished in Metrc.
