Paused Ordering in Dutchie Ecommerce
At times, dispensaries need to temporarily pause ordering for all incoming orders (delivery, pickup, and kiosk). When paused ordering is enabled, you will be able to choose when to pause or accept incoming orders.
Before you begin
- This setting only applies if your dispensary is currently accepting orders.
- You must reach out to your CSM or customer support to enable this feature.
To pause ordering in Dutchie Ecommerce
- From the Order screen of Dutchie Ecommerce, click the PAUSE ORDERS button to temporarily pause orders.
- Click ACCEPT ORDERS to resume accepting orders.
When Admins choose to Pause orders, the consumer-facing menu will state “Online Ordering Coming Soon!” next to the information modal.
If users try to add items to their cart, customers will see the message, “Sorry, online ordering is temporarily closed due to extremely high demand.”
