Manage Checkout settings in Dutchie Ecommerce

This page is only visible to users with the Store Settings permission.
Require photo ID for pickup orders
Requires customers to upload a photo of their driver’s license or state ID on the checkout screen when placing a pickup order.
Require photo ID for delivery orders
Requires customers to upload a photo of their driver’s license or state ID on the checkout screen when placing a delivery order.
Require drivers license number for pickup orders
Requires customers to enter their driver’s license or state ID number on the checkout screen when placing a pickup order.
Require drivers license number for delivery orders
Requires customers to enter their driver’s license or state ID number on the checkout screen when placing a delivery order.
Disable guest checkout
Only allow orders from signed-in Dutchie users.
Remove DOB from guest checkout
By default, the guest checkout screen requires customers to enter their date of birth. This setting removes the date of birth field for a quicker online checkout experience. However, dispensary staff should still verify the customer’s date of birth at the dispensary or upon delivery.
Require email address for guest checkout
Requires customers to enter an email address when checking out as a guest (not signed in to dutchie.com). This is required to ensure that all customers will receive order status email notifications.
Accept tips on Pay by Bank for delivery/pickup orders
Adds a tip option to the checkout screen when Pay by Bank is the selected payment method.
Accept delivery tips
Adds a tip option to the checkout screen for delivery orders when an electronic payment method other than Pay by Bank is selected. Does not apply when cash is selected.
Enable consumer surcharge for Pay by Bank
Adds a “Non-cash adjustment” to Pay by Bank orders. Be sure to also set this up under Settings > Store Info > Payment Fees and specify the amount of the fee, which can be anything up to $3.50. Contact Dutchie Support for assistance setting up a corresponding fee in Dutchie POS.
