  6. Select the following and click Save:

    Sync to Metrc item Yes
External category Select the appropriate external category from Metrc
    Grams/concentration

    Leave blank.

For individual flower products, edit this field later to reflect the per-unit weight of the product. For all other products, this field should remain blank.

    Flower equivalent

    Leave blank.

This field does not apply to Louisiana, but must be left blank to ensure purchase limits for flower are correctly enforced.

Once you've verified that this field is blank for all products, you can hide this field from products and inventory.

  7. Repeat for each other product category until you've updated your entire Catalog.
  8. For Flower products, the Grams/concentration field should be the per-unit product weight in grams. Be sure to go back and fill in the specific weight of each flower product in this field.

Receiving inventory

Louisiana operators should follow the standard inventory receiving workflows for Metrc, with one key exception.

For flower packages, enter the per-unit weight in the Grams/concentration field. Make sure Flower equivalent is blank.

For non-flower packages, make sure both fields are blank.

Tag your inventory physically and upload package IDs

We’ll provide you with a spreadsheet template that you’ll use to record and upload Metrc package IDs for each package in your inventory.

  1. Physically attach Metrc RFID tags to each inventory package.
  2. For each inventory item, populate the tag number (package ID) in column D (“ExternalSerialNumber”).
  3. Send the .csv file to your implementation specialist for upload

Create patient allotments

To add a patient allotment:

  1. In the Register, look up an existing patient or create a new one.
  2. On the patient profile, select Edit Allotments
