After receiving Metrc login credentials, add your employees and configure their roles and permissions in Metrc as part of the onboarding process.
- Log in to Metrc.
- Go to Admin > Employees.
- Select either Add Licensed Employees or Add Unlicensed Employees.
- In New York, select Add Unlicensed Employees.
- Consult your state regulatory body if you're not sure which option to select for your state, license type, or particular employee.
- For licensed employees, enter the person's Employee Lic. Number (state-issued cannabis employee number).
For unlicensed employees, enter the person's name and birth month and year. - Enter a Notification E-mail address for all employees, regardless of type.
- Select View or Manage for each permission, depending on the access level the employee needs.
- For employees to use Metrc Retail ID, the Product Labels permission should be set to Manage.
- Repeat for each employee.
