General notes
Package ID formatting
Package IDs start with M and the license number that it was created under. The following 8 digits are the package's unique identifier (UIN). This format will be automatically applied to all new packages.
Lab testing
Tested inventory now only has valid lab results for 365 days from the testing date. After 365 days, the inventory will have to be re-tested before it can be sold.
Patient sales
General dispensation will remain the same, but voiding a sale is the only way to return allotment to a patient. A return will only refund the patient’s funds and not the allotment.
Packaging
For manufacturers and dispensaries creating or converting inventory, products in Dutchie must be updated with the serving size of the finished good. Go to Products > Catalog, select a product, find the Serving size field, and enter a whole number between 1 and 5.
FAQs
Will I need to re-push any of my existing Dutchie data (rooms, inventory, drivers, etc) to BioTrack?
No.
Will I need a new username and password, or will my existing credentials still work?
BioTrack has stated that a password reset isn’t necessary but is advisable for security purposes. We advise that all locations reset their passwords prior to conducting any activity.
Are there any changes in the integration once the BioTrack upgrade is complete?
Yes:
- For cultivation locations: Plant additives will need to be tracked. BioTrack is not requiring this in the integration, but the state is expecting this 100% of the time. Dutchie will report any additives/nutrients at the time of application.
- For manufacturers: Non-cannabis ingredients will also be expected. These are also not required by BioTrack, but the state is expecting to see any non-cannabis additives reported. Dutchie will report any additives recorded (flavoring, for example) immediately following the creation of a product.
