Use this article as an Inventory Manager or Dispensary Manager to troubleshoot why items currently in stock in Dutchie POS are not appearing for customers on the Dutchie Ecommerce storefront.
What is the issue?
Inventory items that are available for in-store sale are not visible to customers on your e-commerce menu. This typically involves specific products or entire categories failing to sync or display despite having active inventory counts in the Dutchie POS.
What’s causing the issue?
The most common cause is that the Online Visibility toggle is set to hidden within the product settings. It can also be caused by products being assigned to a hidden category or the inventory falling to zero if your settings are configured to hide out-of-stock items.
How do I solve the issue?
Before you begin, ensure the items in question have a positive inventory quantity assigned to a room that is designated for shifted inventory.
- Log in to the Dutchie POS Backoffice.
- Navigate to Products > Catalog.
- Locate the specific item you want to display and click the three-dot menu or click directly into the product details.
- Go to the Online Details tab and locate the Available Online field.
- Set the field to Enabled.
- If you need to check an entire category, navigate to Products > Categories. Select the category and ensure Show Online is enabled.
- Click Save.
- Refresh your e-commerce menu page to verify the items are now appearing.
If these steps don't resolve the issue, it may be related to room configuration, category mapping, quantity thresholds, or missing product data (such as weight, concentration, or brand). See related troubleshooting articles for those topics.
