Manage products: Compact vs Card view in the Dutchie E-Commerce Menu sort view

Use this article to learn how to review, sort, and filter products in the Manage Products page in Dutchie E-Commerce, whether you use the default compact list view or the optional card view.

The Manage Products page shows every product on your menu in one place. From this page, you can review product details, change product visibility, and find specific products using sorting and filtering tools.

The page offers two layout options:

Compact shows one product per row in a dense table. Use this view when you want to scan large menus quickly.
Cards shows a larger card per product with more detail at a glance.

Use cases include:

Reviewing product names, brands, categories, subcategories, prices, and scores in one place
Turning product visibility on or off from the list
Finding active, inactive, or archived products
Sorting products by name, brand, price, potency, score, category, or when they were added
Filtering the list to work on a smaller set of products

Before you begin

The Manage Products page in Dutchie E-Commerce Admin > Menu opens in the compact list view by default.
Your Compact or Cards selection is saved on the device and browser you are using.
Product names may be shortened in the compact list view. You can hover over a shortened name to see the full product name.
The Status filter includes Active, Inactive, and Archived product states.

Switch between Compact and Cards view

Use the view toggle at the top right of the Manage Products page to change how products appear.

From Dutchie E-Commerce Admin go to Menu.
Select Compact or Cards.
Review the products in the selected view.

Your selection stays saved on the current device and browser.

Compact vs Cards: what does it look like?

Compact

Compact provides a list view of products. Hover over the product name for more complete information.

Cards

Cards provides a more expanded view. Products are listed as cards with more information visible.

Read the compact list view

In the compact list view, each row shows key product details in columns.

Column	Description
Status	Shows whether the product is active or inactive. Use the toggle to change product visibility.
Product	Shows the product name. Select the name to open the product details.
Brand	Shows the product's brand.
Category	Shows the product's top-level category.
Subcategory	Shows the product's subcategory, when available.
Price	Shows the product's price.
Score	Shows the product's item score.

Sort products

Use the sorting controls above the product list to change the order of products.

Go to Dutchie E-Commerce Admin > Menu > Manage Products page.
Open the Sort by dropdown.
Select one of the following options:
- Product (A-Z)
- Brand (A-Z)
- Score
- Category
- Potency
- Price
- Recently Added
Open the Direction dropdown.
Select Ascending or Descending.

Filter products

Use the filter panel on the left side of the Manage Products page to narrow the product list.

Go to the Manage Products page.
Use one or more of the following filters:
- Search by keyword
- Status
- Brands
- Subcategories
- Strain types
Review the filtered list.

You can also use the Category and Menu Type dropdowns above the list to narrow the results further.
