Learn how to use the Mobile App Analytics dashboard in Dutchie E-Commerce to track engagement in your white-label mobile app.
The Mobile App Analytics dashboard gives you visibility into how customers use your white-label mobile app. It lives inside the Analytics section of the Dutchie Admin dashboard, under a dedicated Mobile App tab, and it goes beyond standard web e-commerce reporting by surfacing app-specific engagement data.
As mobile adoption grows, dispensaries need data to justify their mobile investment and optimize their app strategy. Mobile App Analytics supports that in a few ways:
- Dispensary Managers and General Managers can see exactly how many users are on the app, how often they visit, and which screens they view most.
- Marketing Directors and Managers can track Total Downloads and engagement trends to measure the success of app-install campaigns and mobile-only promotions.
- Regional Managers overseeing multiple locations can filter data by specific dispensary rather than viewing only aggregated, chain-level totals.
Built-in retry logic and a direct connection to the same data pipeline used elsewhere in Dutchie reporting help ensure the numbers you see stay reliable and consistent with your other reports.
Before you begin
- This feature applies to dispensaries with a Dutchie E-Commerce white-label mobile app. If you do not have a branded mobile app, this dashboard will not have data to display.
- You can access Mobile App Analytics from the sidebar in the Dutchie Admin dashboard under All Locations > Analytics > Mobile App.
- Data is sourced from the same analytics pipeline used for other Dutchie reporting, so figures should stay consistent with your existing dashboards.
- If the dashboard fails to load data on the first attempt, the system will automatically retry before showing you an error.
Core metrics
The Mobile App Analytics dashboard defines three core engagement metrics:
- Users: the number of unique individuals who accessed the app.
- Sessions: the total number of times the app was opened and used.
- Page Views: the total number of screens viewed within the app.
View the engagement graph
The dashboard displays an interactive, time-series graph tracking Users, Sessions, and Page Views together.
- Navigate to All Locations > Analytics > Mobile App from the Dutchie E-Commerce admin sidebar.
- Review the graph, where each metric appears as a visually distinct line or bar with its own legend entry.
- Hover over any point on the graph to see the exact daily totals for that metric.
Find your most viewed pages
Below the graph, a table lists the most viewed pages in your app, so you can see where users spend their time.
The table includes these columns:
- Page Name
- Number of Users
- Number of Sessions
- Number of Views
By default, the table sorts by most viewed. You can also sort by any column, or search and filter by page name to find a specific screen.
Check total downloads
A Total Downloads metric shows the cumulative number of times your mobile app has been downloaded to date.
Filter by dispensary
If you operate multiple locations, you can filter the entire Mobile App Analytics dashboard, including the graph, the most viewed pages table, and total downloads, by a specific dispensary instead of viewing aggregated chain-level data.
Filter mobile orders on the Sales page
Separately from the Mobile App Analytics dashboard, you can filter sales data by mobile app orders on the Analytics > Sales page in Dutchie Admin. This lets you see which orders were generated specifically through the mobile app rather than through your web store.
Troubleshooting
Q: The dashboard showed a brief loading error, but it resolved after a moment. What happened?
A: The dashboard has a built-in retry mechanism. If the initial data request fails, often due to a transient connection issue with the underlying data source, the system automatically retries before surfacing an error to you. If the page continues to show an error after refreshing, contact Dutchie Support.
