Cova | Dutchie E-Commerce - Process pickup orders

Follow this guide to process pickup orders with the Cova point of sale and Dutchie E-Commerce integration.

Things to know

  • You must have appropriate settings permissions on your Dutchie E-Commerce user account to manage orders. Please see your account administrator to update your account.

Process a Dutchie E-Commerce Order 

  1. When your customer places a pickup order through Dutchie E-Commerce, the new order will appear on your terminal.
  2. Click the blue “Confirm” button to print a terminal receipt containing all order information. A text message is automatically sent to your customer confirming that you have received the order.
  3. After clicking “Confirm,” a new order is automatically created in Cova and the order status in Dutchie E-Commerce becomes “Confirmed.” The order status will appear in gray text to indicate that it is now being processed in Cova.
  4. Prepare the order and when it’s ready, click on “Order Placed” in Cova within the individual order. A modal will appear. Select “Ready for Pickup” from the drop-down menu.
  5. A text message will automatically be sent to your customer informing them that their order is ready to be picked up.
  6. When you close the order in Cova, it will automatically be closed in Dutchie E-Commerce and move into “Past Orders” in your Dutchie E-Commerce admin Orders page.
