You can enable and adjust settings for all the ordering features Dutchie offers.
Things to know
- You can set different ordering hours for each order type in Settings > Hours.
- In Dutchie POS, you can create custom guestlist statuses and automatically route each order type to a different status column in the Register. Learn how.
Adjust ordering settings
- In Dutchie E-Commerce admin, navigate to Settings > Ordering.
- Click on any of the following options to adjust order-related settings:
- In-Store Pickup
- Curbside Pickup
- Drive-Thru Pickup
- Delivery
- Kiosk
- To disable any order types you don't offer, select the order type and then uncheck the boxes for both ASAP Ordering and Scheduled Ordering, then click Publish.
In-Store pickup
In this tab, you adjust the following settings:
- Ordering Options
- Toggle on/off ASAP Ordering
- Toggle on/off Schedule Ordering
- Email Order Reminders
- Toggle on/off After Hours Ordering
- Set Pickup Minimum
- Set Payment Types for In-Store Pickup
Curbside pickup
In this tab, you adjust the following settings:
- Ordering Options
- Toggle on/off ASAP Ordering
- Toggle on/off Schedule Ordering
- Email Order Reminders
- Toggle on/off Curbside Arrivals
- Set and/or edit Arrival Instructions
- Toggle on/off After Hours Ordering

Drive-Thru Pickup
In this tab, you adjust the following settings:

- Set Payment Types for Drive-Thru Pickup
Note for Dutchie POS users: when Drive-Thru orders sync to Dutchie POS, the order type does not populate as Drive-Thru but as In-Store Pickup.
To work around this, you can enter a Checkout Message to indicate the order type. This can be found in Settings --> Ordering --> Drive-Thru --> Checkout Message.

Delivery
In this tab, you adjust the following settings:

Kiosk
In this tab, you adjust the following settings:
- Enable/disable Kiosk Mode
- Set Kiosk Instructions for your customers.
- See your Kiosk menu URL
- Set Kiosk Options
- Full Name Only
- Hide Phone Field
- Phone Required
- Hide Email Field
- Show Notes Field
- Show Birthdate Field
- Enable Directed Orders
- Set Payment Types for Kiosk orders
Troubleshooting
If you've enabled an order type (i.e., Curbside pickup) but customers can't select it when checking out, check the hours for each order type in the Settings > Hours tab. Confirm they are set correctly, and the current time falls within these hours.
If Scheduled Ordering is enabled, customers will be asked to select a time window for their order at checkout. If the selected time window is outside your specified hours, or if all time slots are filled (if you have Order Limits enabled), customers may not be able to place an order.
