Products can be added to Dutchie Brand Portal individually and in bulk. You can use the Import function to upload a CSV to add multiple products at one time.
Things to know
- You must use a properly formatted CSV, or you will encounter an error.
- Values on the CSV sheet must match spelling and capitalization exactly to avoid errors.
- This tool should only be used to add new products, and will not check for potential duplicates or edit existing products.
Prepare your CSV for bulk upload to Dutchie Brand Portal
Download the CSV Template
- Click the Import button located at the top of the Products table.
- Click download the template from the pop-up screen.
- Open the template and fill out the fields following the CSV guidelines.
- Save the file.

| Type | Dutchie has several type designations: Indica, Sativa, Hybrid, High-CBD, Indica-Hybrid, Sativa-Hybrid, THC, 1 to 1, 2 to 1, 5 to 1, 10 to 1, 20 to 1, 50 to 1, N/A. It is important to select one of these so that when users filter by type your product is included. |

The import tool supports one image per product. Please provide images in the form of a Google Drive link and ensure the sharing settings on your images are set to public so we can access the images. If needed, we can set up a folder for you so that Drive links can be generated. Links should always appear in the following format:

In order to provide batch specific test results, we will always defer to the data received from a retailers POS to populate the THC and CBD fields. In the event that no test result data is provided by the POS, and a connection has been made between the menu item and your library item, the data you provide will be pushed to the menu item. |

Add multiple products using a CSV
- Click the Import button located at the top of the Products table.
- Click Select File from the Import Products pop-up.
- Choose a file you want to import.
Correct errors after bulk upload
Once the upload is complete, the pop-up will display the number of products that were added and whether or not any rows contained errors. By hovering over the row number, you will be able to see a reason for the error so it may be corrected. If you find errors, you will want to correct them.
- Remove any rows with products that were accepted during the initial upload. If you do not remove these, they will be duplicated when you reattempt your upload.
- Correct the errors in the products that do not upload successfully, and save your file.
- Re-import the file.
Unknown error warning
This error usually indicates that the upload has timed out and the sheet is either too large, or of the wrong file type.
