Learn how to add products individually or use the Import function to add products in bulk, by uploading a CSV, to add multiple products at one time.
Things to know
- If you support multiple sub-brands within your account, you must first use the brand selector located in the upper right-hand corner of Dutchie Connect to select the brand for which you will be importing products. This must be done one brand at a time.
- Once you have selected the appropriate brand, product uploades must match the selected brand only.
- Each CSV upload supports one brand at a time. If you manage multiple brands, please upload a separate spreadsheet for each
- You must use the Dutchie Connect Template, or you will encounter errors.
- Our template has data validation built in, so you can select the appropriate values to easily fill in your product information. Once the completed template is converted to a CSV, all spelling and capitalization must match what is provided in the template to avoid upload errors.
- This tool should only be used to add new products, and will not check for potential duplicates or edit existing products.
- To modify existing products in bulk, first export the products from the Catalog in order to capture each product's unique ID. This will allow the system to map updates back to the appropriate product without creating duplicates. See the "Edit products in bulk" section of Manage Products in Dutchie Connect.
Add a single product from the Products page
Note: Each SKU should have a separate Product record for every market where it's sold. For example, if you sell the same strawberry edible SKU in 10 states, create 10 catalog records—one for each state.
- Click the Add Product button located at the top of the Products table.
-
Fill out the fields in the Add Library Item form.
Note: A preview of how your product will display on Dutchie dispensary menus will appear in the sidebar. - Click Save.
- Navigate back to the Products page to see the new item in the table. You may need to refresh your browser.

- All successfully imported rows will be added to the catalog immediately.

- Correct the errors listed in the "ERRORS" column for each row
- Save updated CSV file
-
Re-import the corrected products
Tip: Downloading the failed rows will include only the products with errors, not successfully imported products.
