FAQ: Which batch's details appear on Dutchie E-Commerce menus?

Dutchie E-Commerce uses "first in, first out" logic to determine which batch/package specific details to show on menus when multiple batches/packages of the same product exist in your inventory.

How it works

For example, if you have two packages of Blue Dream flower from the same supplier but from from separate batches, they likely have slightly different potencies/test results, were received or packaged on different dates, have different expiration dates, and may have different pricing depending on your POS configuration.

In these cases, Dutchie E-Commerce displays the test results and other details of whichever package has the earliest Packaged Date in your POS inventory

Once that package sells out or is otherwise removed from your inventory, your menu will automatically show the details of the next-oldest package based on packaging date.

Exceptions

If a Packaged Date is unavailable, Dutchie E-Commerce uses whichever package has the earlierst Received Date instead.

Order fulfillment at the point of sale

Note that regardless of which package's details are displayed online, orders may still be fulfilled from other packages at the point of sale.
