How do I fix inventory discrepancies using the Metrc integration audit?

Use this article as a Manager or Compliance Officer to resolve inventory discrepancies between Dutchie POS and your state traceability system using the Integration Audit tool.

What is the issue?

Discrepancies occur when a sale or adjustment is recorded in one system but not the other. This tool allows managers to see these differences side-by-side and push the correct numbers to the state system to stay in compliance.

What’s causing the issue?

This is often caused by unrecorded breakage, sales made while the internet was down, or manual adjustments made directly in the state system instead of through Dutchie.

How do I solve the issue?

  1. Navigate to Traceability > Integration Audit.
  2. Select the products or packages you want to reconcile.
  3. Review the Dutchie Quantity versus the State Quantity.
  4. Select the items and click the Bulk Actions dropdown.
  5. Select Sync Levels
Use with caution: This pushes quantity changes to the state system, which may trigger compliance scrutiny.
  6. Choose the Sync Direction.
    1. Dutchie to Metrc updates Metrc quantities to match Dutchie quantities.
    2. Metrc to Dutchie updates Dutchie quantities to match Metrc quantities.
  7. Select a Reason and enter a Reason Note for compliance tracking, then click Sync.
