An integration audit and adjustments should be performed only AFTER you have attempted to correct any underlying issues through other methods.
Before you attempt an Integration Audit
You should try to correct any underlying issues before attempting an Integration Audit!
- Stay on the right side of the law. Make yourself aware of state regulations that may apply to your particular situation. The integration audit in Dutchie POS corrects at the state level. Some states require additional permission BEFORE making any inventory adjustments.
- Refreshing Packages should be done BEFORE syncing levels. Look at your receipt audit to check any sales that may have not been posted to Metrc before syncing levels as this can cause larger discrepancies.
- Check batch mode logs for any unreported sales. - if operating in batch mode.
- Look at the receipt audit for any sales that weren’t reported. - if not operating in batch mode.
- Look for any previous adjustments that may have been done in error.
- Check if there are any improperly manifested packages. View manifest history in Products > Manifests.
- Get help. Contact Dutchie Support to confirm an Integration Audit should be performed.
Things to consider
- To perform an Integration Audit, your state traceability system, Metrc or BioTrack, must be enabled.
- BioTrack packages are labeled Package ID, and your Metrc packages are labeled External ID.
Integration Audit shows you the discrepancies between packages entered in the system and Metrc or BioTrack integrations. It can be used to correct discrepancies with sync levels in Metrc states. This operation should be done with an abundance of caution. Check for underlying issues before performing this operation.
Correct a discrepancy with Sync Levels (Metrc)

Refreshing Packages should be done BEFORE syncing levels. Look at your receipt audit to check any sales that may have not been posted to Metrc before syncing levels as this can cause larger discrepancies.
- Go to Traceability > Integration Audit.
- Confirm the count you have on hand.
- Bulk-select the packages you want to correct from the audit list.
- Select Sync Levels from the Actions dropdown.
Note: Sync Level can only be performed in Metrc states. - Choose the sync direction from the window.
Note: Sync direction should be the same as the destination record. - Select a Reason from the dropdown.
- Enter a descriptive Reason Note.
- Click Sync.
Troubleshooting tip
If you have a product showing a quantity in Metrc and not in Dutchie --For example, You just received the inventory, and it's showing in Dutchie as 12 but 0 in the integration audit -- check that the product is marked as cannabis.
- Go to Catalog > Search item
- Click on Is Cannabis?
- Adjust from No to Yes, and Click Save.
Email Integration Audit report
- Go to Traceability > Integration Audit.
- Select Email Reports from the Actions dropdown.
- Select a recipient or add a new recipient by clicking the add button.
- Ensure the email function is Enabled.
Note: Enabled reports are sent every morning at 4 a.m ET.
