Below, you'll find a checklist outlining the order of events and tasks necessary for a successful launch on Dutchie POS and E-Commerce. This checklist can act as an additional resources and a roadmap, allowing you to track your process with the Implementation journey and ensure that all essential steps are completed in the correct order.
From configuring Dutchie POS, integrating payment options, prioritizing your E-Commerce environment and successfully configuring hardware, each item on the list corresponds to crucial aspects of your setup.
You'll notice most checklist items are hyperlinks- these links are a curated collection of learning resources including articles, videos, and interactive tutorials to provide you with comprehensive support and guidance throughout every step of the process.

To Be Completed Before Training 1:
- Complete Configuration Checklist Form
- Build user profiles and apply permissions
- Login to your Dutchie accounts (POS & E-Commerce; these will be two different logins on different platforms)
- Collect Payments documentation & complete Payments application, if applicable.
API Configuration:
- Request necessary API keys
- Connect API keys (Metrc, BioTrack, Onfleet, Springbig, AlpineIQ and others)
Purchase or collect existing hardware:
- POS: computers/tablets; customer facing displays; printers; barcode scanners; scales; & cash drawers – Dutchie’s hardware recommendations outlined here.
- E-Commerce: you will need to purchase an iPad + receipt printer to support E-Commerce functionality; this is separate from your POS hardware needs. If using an iPad, ensure it is up-to-date with the most current iOS.
- Payments: your selected Payments hardware will ship within 48 business hours of your Payments application being submitted.

- Setup and verify taxes (POS & EComm)

E-Commerce Action Items:
You'll receive an email with the subject titled, 'Welcome to Dutchie' for any new users added during the kickoff call. Open the email once you receive it, and click on the blue "Get Started" button.
NOTE: The invite link within the 'Welcome to Dutchie' email will expire within six hours if not accessed before. Please reach out to your Implementation Strategist if you need a new invitation.

- At this point, your Payments application has been submitted and approved.
- You are ready for Training 5: Payments.
- Review the Payments video tutorials so that you know how to set up your hardware and utilize the Payments product before attending the live session and come prepared with questions.

- During the live Training 5 session, your trainer will go over thePay By Bank Help Center Articles on the call, including the customer sign-up process (enrollment) and how to run test transactions.
- Note: You must complete at least 5 test transactions before moving on to the next step in the implementation journey.

- Test all physical hardware & print receipt and labels to ensure successful operation

Confirm System Functionality
- Confirm receipt printer, label printer, barcode scanners and cash drawers are working as intended
- Confirm payment hardware is functioning by running a test sale (If Applicable)
- Enable Payment Fees in Backoffice (If Applicable- Settings>Fees and Donations)
- If using integrated software like Onfleet for delivery run a test transaction through both systems
- Receive test inventory into the system
- Move test inventory to the sales floor
- Check a new guest into the POS & sell an item of the test inventory to the new guest
- Create a sale in the preview store on E-Commerce & cash the order out on POS
- Finalize the sale by printing a receipt
